Overheat problem?

My computer just started powering off

Well thats not your processer, its the heatsink, and your gonna fry your chip if that fan isn't turning. So looks like your in the market for a new heatsink.

You can check if the CPU is getting too warm by using a temp monitor such as SpeedFan.
