got second monitor - question...

Postby legoalex2000 » Wed Feb 01, 2006 1:14 pm

after a couple half an hour of moving all my stuff over, i managed to play FS9 with my TV (S-vid) and used my monitor for GPS and other utilities.

then my mom came home and she was pissed. she said that she thought it was a big waste of time, time which i could use for scholarships.

i devote enough time to that, and by pure chance one of my friends (he's a BIG BIG mac freak (he's got a 19" macbook pro on his way already))

so he had a monitor which he sold to me for $25. what a bargain! it's a 15" CRT, thats all i need. now it doesen't compliment my black 17" and my case, but this is for the game, not the look.

i have a slight feeling my mom will be even madder, but oh well, i have a second monitor!

cool.... i got myself a secong monitor too... also a 15" CRT...

my mom also thinks it's way too much for a single computer, but i cant help it, i really love that extended desktop...

how cool is it to have your mouse cursor go over the edge of one monitor and into the other ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

cheers

yep, im used to it now, like SimV is permamently on my second screen :P ;)

but now arises a question....

i have a second graphics card, a Radeon 7000 (PCI). now if i were to install that for the second monitor, will performance be better, same, or worse than having both monitors hooked into my X3100?
