Hey Fozzer
the MS stick is a bit tricky to get apart. On the base there are some small round rubber pads. You have to take these off as underneath some of them there are addittional securing screws for the base of the stick.

Thanks for the tip...
I did wonder if there were some hidden screws underneath the pads, but I didn't want to risk removing them unnecessarily.... ;)...!
