I would buy 6600gt AGP version, I belive they make em. You may have a bottleneck with your cpu, it wont take away from esxisting performance but you will be loosing some too, get me? I would not upgrade cpu unless you get a good steal. Save your money for AMDs new socket AM2.
So what your saying is i WONT loose any performance from the new card (6600GT) if i get it with my current system, but i could also improve by buying a faster CPU?...not quite sure on that last part.
You mentioned the new AMD processors coming out soon, and for me to save for one of them..... Well the thing is, mentioned earlier in this thread, i will be buying a WHOLE new system in around 6 - 7months when i have saved all my money, but i was wondering in the meantime to upgrade my graphics card while the prices are good..., and at the same time i can get a pretty cheap processor.
So what do you think i should do....im not the Pc expert LOL, so i need your help.

Shall i just buy the 6600GT, and leave my current set-up as it is...and would this be ok?...would the 6600GT perform well?
OR should i get the 6600GT, and at the same time, buy the 2600+ AMD Athlon XP barton (FSB 333Mhz). - If i was to upgrade would i be looking at an performance increase at all?, and as i keep mentioning, would i need to upgrade my CPU for the 6600GT to work at Full.?
Sorry this has been a long thread, i try and do as much research as i can, but i needed your help with those points/suggestions.
- Many thanks again for your support on this matter.
James
