Probably speaking out of turn here, but from my experience and what I've read many times here the amount of 3d cloud coverage and AI you have set will be the thing that makes or breaks your cards performance.  So If you have any stutter thats where to adjust to get it running good. Never ran FS on a laptop though performance may be different.

Will run FS quite good i think

And for 64 bit stuff: does it run xp64? If not, get a liveCD

I know that Geforce 7 series in moble plaforms have VERY little performance loss over their desktop counterpart. You should be able to handle fs no problems. 8)
