what is problem with my computer, it starts automaticllay as i switch on my main power switch without touching on the computer switch and the bios settings always reset to its default.
PC specification

AMD athlon 64 3000+
1 gb ddr ram
geforce 6600 256 mb
nforce 4 mainboard K8N Neo
450 PSU
Transparent casing with 5 fans

please help me

and also there is another problem the system some time automatically restarts with the sound of processor switching off and restarting. and after booting up again the message appear that the system is recovered from a serious error.....................reply

It sounds like the case wiring and mainboard jumpers are set incorrectly, you need to get someone who knows how to read the mainboard manual to wire the mainboard and set the jumpers correctly.

Has the motherboard got a battery, it may need replacing/installing?

Check the cmos clr jumper.  Make sure it is not set to on.
