Anyone have the CH Pro Pedals AND Yoke?

Hey there.  I've been using my Saitek X-45 joystick/Throttle for some time now, and am looking for... well, not an upgrade, but just something more realistic to practice my IFR maneuvers.

How do you guys like your CH setup?  How are the rudder pedals?

I want the good, the bad, and the ugly!  If I'm gonna fork over $300 I want it to last long and keep me happy! lol

My pal has the yoke and pedals and they work okay but feel a little flimsy. Also if you have a computer swivel chair with wheels you tend to be all over the place using the rudder and toe brakes

I think with the right setup i.e. good chair and an under sil to clamp the yoke to, you could have a good time

I LOVE my CH Yoke and Pedals. I also got them for $110 each from Amazon and also got free shipping. They make such a difference, especialy the pedals. Since I got them I think the pedals do more for me than the yoke, they just add so much...but the yoke is amazing too. They are very durable. Plastic, but durable...

Good luck if you decide to get them, you won't regret it!

Here is another question for ya... I also have a Saitek X-45, and do you think I could also use the Pedals with that when I decide I want to fly fighters?  Do you know if I would be able to switch back and forth?  It'd rock not having to use the rudder rocker on the back of the throttle.

Anyway, thanks again!  I'm lookin' on E-bay and the places you guys recommended.

There was another site I found that compares the prices of like 5 other online stores, and the cheapest I found was $101 for each.

Oh I'm sure you would be able to do that! Whenever I fly fighters I use my Microsoft Force Feedback 2 joystick with the pedals and it still works like a dream!

Yes, you can. I have been known to have 4 things connected at once to my computer during flight sim.

I have both the Pedals and Yoke. Absolutely will not fly any other way. Unless I use my joystick with a fighter or a chopper.

I'm seriously considering buying the Thorttle Quadrant, so I can do more realistic twin flights....

Besides the CH, anybody have good ideas on that?

On another note, my sister's going to give me her Saitek racing wheel and pedals, could the racing pedals be used as rudder pedals?

As to throttle quadrants........

Goflight also has a nice throttle quadrant... but again the price is in the $300 + range.  The CH is the cheapest I know of.

Or you can hack some joysticks and bild your own.  See the "homebuild" forum for ideas.

i have the yoke, but I use home-built pedals. They are very basic, and I'm going to get the CH pedals eventually instead of trying to make working toe brakes. I could do it, but it would be a lot of work. anyway I love the yoke except its tendancy to stick. Anyone know a good way to make that stop? I've been using spray on silicone lubricant, but it seems that something thicker would be better. White Lithium grease maybe?
