Graphics Setttings.

Postby RHeite » Sat Jul 30, 2005 12:07 pm

Okay...here's my problem.

I'm sitting with a 2.4 Celly, 512MB PC2300.
PowerColor's 9800SE 256, right now it's at 4x, I'm running off my old motherboard until my other one gets back from the shop.

I've bumped the paging file up, I've tweaked with the settings in the ATI panel (running Catalyst, not Omega) and even tweaked around with FS...but still, I'm getting pixely sub-par graphics...

Is there something I'm missing? Is there  an issue with my card?  Just hoping somebody can help me get this baby figured out.

Have you adjusted the mips? They seem to have a huge effect on it. That or the filtering, both in FS.

Actually, I went looking through the settings...I had completly forgotten to go in and re-set my setting in the BIOS when I changed out the battery...so my AGP apature (yes, spell check was invented for me) was set down to 64MB...bumped it back up to 256, and BAM! Instant betterfication.
