RAID

There already a RAID thread going, but I don't like jacking peoples threads. ;)

If I were to start a RAID with my 250 now, could I just add on another drive later on, or would I have to start over anew with both drives?

You would have to restart, wipe both drives.

Drats.  I thought I had decided to just use a one drive SATA set-up for now, but it appears I can't do so.  (I read through some Googled pages that you could).  It looks like I'll have to just buy another hard drive. :P

Yeah, unless you want to backup 250 gigs of data, just get another drive.

There are ways to do what you want, but it may end costing more than another HD.

There are special raid cards that can allow the addition of another HD, but those are expensive cards.
