512mb geforce 6200

Is a 512mb geforce 6200 worth
My PC specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200 (@ 2.2ghz)
Asus K8v se deluxe motherboard
1.5gb pc3200 RAM
128mb palit geforce 6600gt
200gb+80gb hard drives
21 inch CRT
5.1 creative surround sound speakers

Don't believe the hype!
Extra RAM does not equal extra performance.
I'd bet it's NOT worth the money.
Now a 6600gt for a few quid more... more like it.

No, it's still a budget card with poor performance. I wouldn't get it if it had 2GB RAM.

And, NO, it's not worth 100 pounds. It's currently at 100 dollars retail.

Thanks guys does anybody know of a decent 256mb video card i can get for

6600gt, go with it and be happy.

The 6200 is essentially a geforce4 mx with dx9 abilities.

yeahaw, i like my x850xt pe at 540 MHz.
sorry i had 2 :D
memory dosnt mean much, SOME, 128meg cards are faster than 256meg cards.

get a GF7800... out already, and faster

And as a bonus: it's less hungry on the 12v so it runs cooler too

If you can afford it, I completely recommend the 7800.

I have nothing to say about this card thats negative besides it price.
