Finally temps fixed

Postby Gunny04 » Thu May 12, 2005 3:44 pm

Well I was Running 50C Idle, and 65 to 80C Max load..... Pulled the side cover off and put a small box fan near comp, Got them down to 44C and 58C Max load...... then today Can of Compressed air, Now 35 as of this minute on idle and 45-50 Max load...... (With case cover off with box fan on) So...... Considering what my comp is I find it quite impressive that they are that low! Cheers, Gunny (all fans on max cept box fan wich is on low) Cheers, Gunny

Gunny,

My 2800+ is overclocked to 2.28ghz which is faster than your 3200+, yet sitting here idling at 33*. It's simming at about 45 - 50*. Weather is not hot. In the heat of summer you could add almost 10* to my figures.

I only use the stock boxed HSF that came with it.

My case is always open.
