Yoke without pedals

Postby Ben_M_K » Fri Dec 03, 2004 12:59 pm

Hey, I'm considering getting the CH Yoke but I'm going to hold off on the pedals until I can save up some more dogh. My question is, what do I do for rudder. I'm okay with having auto-rudder on, but how would I taxi? Can I use the twist feature on my Sidewinder? I would guess not.

It should work actually. I was fooling around one time and used a steering wheel for turning and my stick for going up and down. What you do is hook both of them up then goto your controller assignments, both controllers should show up in the drop down menu. Just pick one, set its assignments, then pick the other and set its assignments. Hope this helps.

If you have auto rudder on, Your yoke will control your nose wheel for steering.

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

I just bought the CH yoke and the yoke will turn the the plane when you are taxiing. If you have ever flown a real airplane, the yoke will amaze you! The only thing a need now is the G effects and a little 100LL Fuel burning. CP
