Need recommendations...

Postby liftoff1021 » Mon Oct 11, 2004 5:56 pm

Hey all;

Can anybody recommend me a good set of Rudder Pedals + Yoke for use with Flightsim 2004? I'm looking to pay about 100 US$ for the two of them.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can get them for that. Check out CH's site. Expensuive, but apparently great quality.

CH Products yoke and pedals are pretty much "the" standard for this kind of stuff.  They can typically be had new for about $107 each... plus shippuing if you need to have them shipped.

There are some other options .... but they are FAR more expensive (but more realistic).

RARELY you'll find the usb models are available used on EBay and go SLIGHTLY less that that by the end of the auction.  But that is "catch as catch can".

You likely are just not going to find the PAIR for about $100 USD.  If you do.... you got a steal.

best,

PS:  Be careful of the CH Products gameport units.  Those go FAR cheaper.

My stick is USB, and much more reliable than my old gameport stuff. Newer PC's dont have gameports now anyway.

I would think a yoke and pedal combo is going to run over $200, but you can always go with CH Products pedals ($149.99) and a decent stick like a Saitek X-45 ($79.99 average retail)
