Postby zeberdee » Mon Aug 23, 2004 6:38 pm

Hi all

I have decided to build a computer to run "acof" with hopefully good fps! Will this do the job? or are there going to be problems? Many thanks, Chris

Pentium 4 800MHz fsb Hyper- threading technoligy
Asus p4c800 De-luxe supporting dual ram
512Mb pc3200 400DDR ram (one stick) all I can afford at the moment
Sound blaster Audigy sound card
ATI Radeon 9200 se 128Mb 8x agp
Maxtor 40Gig 7200rpm Hard drive
350w p4 power and case

Parts sourced from "Dabs" and E-bay P4 donated by a very good friend!!

If you could just replace the 9200se video card. I have a 128 8x 128 bit memory bandwith ATi 9200 video card and fs9 still struggles at times but other games don't.
Best Regards,
Selby

That's pretty much what I'm getting. I'm interested to see your results.

They both will work perfectly, until you open windows.

Yup, that video card sucks. Most of them do. Save your dollars for the one thing that will make all the difference.
