Getting started with drivers

Postby goodfella » Sat Jul 03, 2004 6:07 am

After just building a new system and including a sapphire 9800pro card, im having a problem installing just the basic 4.1 drivers that came in the box with the card. All I get is 'cannot run' and '0.00x12', whatever that means? Need help please!

Current setup is:

AMD64 3000
Asus motherboard
Kingston PC3200 512 ram
Seagate 120 gig HD
Sapphire 9800pro 128 card

Try going to the manafacturers site and download the latest version and install them.

Just a warning on another PC site I frequent many people have been warned away from using the Omega drivers now as the Standard Cat drivers are now in fact very good.  There was no difference in benchmark scores between the two (apparently) and a few had artifact problems with the omega ones.  Though if yours is workin ok with no artifacts don't bother changing.
