FX5200 Drivers

Postby Scottler » Thu Apr 22, 2004 10:59 pm

I'm toying with the idea of experimenting with different drivers for my GeForce FX5200 card...anyone know which set is the best?  (I've only used the default drivers, but understand that different drivers can have different results.)

Thanks!
Great edit, Bob.

Mornin' Scott.

I'm using the latest Drivers downloaded from the NVidia Website for my 5600 Card.  I have found these to be substantialy more stable than the Beta versions that you can get from Guru3D.  Some of these were a little faster but the image quality IMHO is better now.

Just a note:

Guru3d offer the signed drivers AS WELL AS some beta drivers.

They have a very comprehensive range and history of video card drivers as well as many other useful tidbits.

The guru also trims the driver files down in size sometimes (they get rid of language translations etc) so downloading is easier, especially on dialup connections.

Guru3d also has the new 60.72 drivers which are the best yet for the FX5200.
