Hi stickboy,

Hardware related? MMmmm...... only just!

You can copy over your plane's folders from within the old aircraft folder to your new one, but you may find there will be missing guages etc., you could copy over your guage folder etc.

You can copy your entire game over if you wish. Like this.....

Install the game to the new system from the setup disks.

1. Rename the Game Folder on the new system from, say, "FS9" to FS9.new

Copy the old "FS9" game folder to the same location that the "FS9.new" folder is in, so they are side by side.

The name of the folder is important, if it matches the installed name, that game folder will be the one the PC recognises.

In MS Flt Sim products, This usually results in having to reconfigure the controller (joystick) settings.

The "FS9.new" folder can be kept as a backup game, it should run fine as well, but it won't be the one your PC's registry points to unless you name it back to the original name.
