Starting tomorrow morning I will take my HP computer and get it updated to like new condition with a new mother board a 80gig hard drive Geforce4 MX440 64MB DDR the motherboard I am getting is a P4P800 P4 800FSB

How much is that going to cost if u dont mind me asking. Im looking to upgrade as well possibly.

I have had Rob at GCC build me a new machine for $670.00 with a 80 gig hard rive and a Geforece FX5200 graphics card

I know nothing about computers... Can I get a new hard drive to put in my current machine? Im thinking of getting some things and just sending it to the local computer guy.

You can get a new one to replace the one you already have or one to go along side of it, make sure you set the jumper on the new hdd to slave though.

Just upgraded to a soyo Kt400 with 3000+ athlon, with new memory and some cooling hardware it ended up being about 650usd$ (guesstimating since I'm not at home)
