ARGH!! I need help... BAD!!!!

ok... So...
My CD-RW drive is like.. DYING!
I will start a Burn... And it will get about half way... and then it just DIES on me... Roxio shuts down... and i cant even open the CD bay... WTF??? AhHH... can u please help? Thank you

Oh wait, try this. Just to get open the Drive Though. Have you gone through "My Computer" to open it manually. If you haven't do this. Right click the drive your disk is in and click eject. If that doesn't work. Restart and try over.

This is what happened to me, but it fixed itself so don't worry.

What year, and model computer do you have?

it regains power once i restart it... Its a Dell Dimension 2300... but i made it better!... lol
got it @ Christmas... im thinking that warrenty will do it for me.
