Good to hear it worked out.
Selbiodln, performance in FS2002 can be dramatically affected by sound. Just watch your frame rates when you turn the sound off in the settings. If a driver is malfunctioning or conflicting, serious frame rate loss can become evident.
The reason is that sound is heavily dependant on the CPU for processing. This is why a good sound card\chip is important, a good sound chip will reduce load on the CPU, allowiing it to process the math calculations and video information.
Only when a CPU is fast enough to cope with all the demands placed on it, is fast gaming performance possible. A slow front side bus speed, weak CPU, Soundcard, Videocard or slow or insufficient ram will hold up an otherwise fast system.
