CPU AND GPU TEMPS

Postby RAMPRAT » Tue Aug 06, 2013 11:22 pm

Does anyone know how to find the temps for your cpu and gpu plus their power usage and fan speed while playing FSX?

I answered my own question. Downloaded GPUTEMPS. Now, while flying FSX I click on views then full screen and my screen will minimize and I can start GPUTEMP. Highest temp so far has been 49c for my gpu with a load of 93%. Running my gpu at 1100 clock speed and memory clock speed at 1300. Normal settings are 1000 and 1200. Don't want to go to far over norm. Now, if only I could get my water to look like water at night. Looks great flying in daylight.

I'm usually on the lookout for free mini programs like this, so I gave it a try.

Give HWMonitor from CPUid a try.

Took GPUTEMP off, put HWMonitor on. Really neat. Now have my temps plus a lot of stuff I have no idea what they are talking about.

A lot of the info isn't useful to most people.

But what is important -CPU, Hard Drive, video card and motherboard temperatures are all there in one quick, easy, AND FREE program. :D

The other stuff that's reported? It'll always be there when, and if, you need to learn about it.
