Z Rotation

Postby lvrpdln » Sun Jul 14, 2013 3:29 pm

Please can someone help me, I have 2 Microsoft Sidewinders. ! as force feedback and the other doesn't. For some reason, the rudder is always making my craft go left on both Joysticks. Its possible, but I can not see both of them being faulty. Does anyone have an idea who to rectify this. I hace tried to calibrate them both, several times, but this does not seem to work. It drives me bonkers when trying to fly helicopters!!!!!

thanks in advance

In Windows 7...>>>

Control Panel > Hardware and Sounds > View devices and printers > Joystick....
.....[Mouse right click on Joystick] > Game controller settings > Properties....[Test the Joystick through all of its various movements, including the throttle and observe what happens in the window].

That will show up any faults in the movements!

Paul.... :D ...!

P.S...Best of luck with the lovely-old Microsoft Sidewinders!... ...(Mine died many years ago!).... :( ...!

As Paul said.

Also check inside game, control axes, that you have rudder pointed to Z.

Btw welcome on SimV ;)
