Asobo 103

Postby EVVFCX » Sun Nov 21, 2021 9:12 pm

Hello fellow simmers

I noticed the BuilderLogError.txt file had been created with a new run of FS2020 after the latest mandatory updates.
The content of the file shows: Could not open file: 'SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_103Solo_SmallWheels\model\103solo_cockpit.xml'

In searching through the SimObjects folder, the 103 aircraft does not exist.
If I look in the 'Official' folder, I find the aircraft there but the .xml file does not exist, a 103solo.xml does exist but the aircraft.cfg file calls for the 103solo_cockpit.xml

Could somebody please check in their LocalCache folder where one of the Simobjects is and look for the BuilderLogError.txt file and what it's contents are and do your own search for the /xml file and please report back here.

regards

Steve

Well I have a look in all the MSFS folders I can find as well as Windows sub folders. Can see no LocalCache.

EDIT:

OK found BuilderLogError.txt. (C:\Users\PETE\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache)
There is one line repeated about 20 times

"Could not open file: 'SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_103Solo_SmallWheels\model\103solo_cockpit.xml'"

Hi Pete,

That's the same as on mine, I think that plane was free at some point but is no longer, I've had my FS2020 since early April 2021 and don't recall seeing that plane.
