Tutorial buggy

Postby EVVFCX » Fri Apr 09, 2021 2:27 pm

Hi all,

Just installed FS 2020 this week and thought, what the hell I'll have a look at the tutorials.
The second part, scanning and reading the instruments, the aircraft crashes into a house after just looking at two instruments, now the second instrument it's brings your attention to
is the rpm, and this is why it's crashing, it's reading 1500, not enough to maintain level flight, the instructor is chatting away stating it's reading 2300, no it's not.

Anybody else seeing this behaviour in the tutorials.

regards

Steve

Hi all,

This particular problem was fixed in the last update, was a fault in the 'autopilot' whilst instructor was flying.
Still surprised nobody commented

HI,

Get back on in the sim and try it, working fine now.
The tutorial going from 1 airport to another with the instructor and back on your own in my opinion it's one of the best enjoyable tutorials I've ever seen, pity the Airbus tutorials aren't the same quality but I'm biased towards 737NGs.

Are you surely launching the simulator correctly and pressing the buttons correctly in flight? The problem could be mismanagement. Although, there may be a problem with the simulator itself.

Hi,

Please read what I entered above, it was a bug in the tutorial which I reported to Microsoft, I assume you don't read what the update/patches are for or you don't use FS2020 as the problem was fixed in the last update for FS2020 and was mentioned in the 'what this update fixes'

Hello. Now it is clear. Apparently, the first time I misunderstood your message.
