The sim continually crashes to the desktop when loading a flight (any flight ). Been running ok for months, problem just started about a week ago. Have same config, not changed anything.
Is anyone else getting this problem ? any help appreciated

I had this same problem recently when everything has been running fine. My simulator just started crashing every time I would load a flight. Also, some airports wouldn't show up when I'd try to enter them into any GPS. I thought it was caused by a recent Navigraph or Simlink update, but updating or uninstalling didn't help. Then I thought it was Carenado's Synthetic Vision, because I suddenly got the NO LIC displaying on all Carenado G1000 aircraft. That issue was caused by the Windows Defender Update which autodeleted some files it thought was a threat. That happened to EZDOK before, so I already knew how to fix it by adding exclusions to the proper folders and reinstalling Synthetic Vision. Then I resorted to running the Orbx Vector configurator, and that seems to have fixed my problem. If you have Orbx Vector, I suggest you run the configurator, apply the settings, and try again.

Thanks but don't have OrbX or any other addons installed. Already made exclusions to the main sim folder in Defender.
Getting very frustrated with this sim as are a lot of others it seems

Done a complete re-install of Windows 10 then installed the sim again and I've still got exact same problem. Thinking about asking for refund.....Shame because when it worked , it was really good !

I suppose I should've asked... Are you using MSFS2020, P3Dv4, or P3Dv5?

Also, can you go to your event viewer by typing event in the windows 10 search bar, click each selection on the left, and look in the top window and scroll down to check for errors. After a ctd there should be a crash report listing the faulting module. Copy/paste it here and I will try to help.

didnt someone have this very same issue not too long ago and it was a corrupted logbook???????????

Don't know why, but since the new update, my problem has gone away. did 8 flights yesterday without a CTD
