Taking into account that some problems happened with past updates and the very high amount od addons and mods for this sim, the best is to remove all addons from Community folder before updating.
This can be done installing all addons outside MSFS and use
MSFS Addons linker,
https://flightsim.to/download/msfs-addons-linker/1572 This program is very useful for managing addons, you can create several profiles in order not to have all your addons active when not all of them are needed. This program creates symbolic links inside the Community folder and easily remove them so when updating simply untick all active addons and after updating you can activate them.
