Choppers

Anyone heard anything about helicopters in MSFS 2020?

Must be the 1st MSFS in 20 years where no default Bell 206 or anything rotor.

Wondering why?

I don't know but the lack of helicopters, gliders and carriers is one of main reasons I have not moved to the new sim. I can wait a few months to see what happens, I'm quite happy with DCS/FS9/FSX/Rise of flight for the time being.

I'm in the same situation. I haven't bought MSFS yet.
The lack of choppers and gliders is, for me quite a big issue.
The lack of military planes together with aircraft carriers is also quite bad.
But none of these are as critical as the lack of VR support. That's the main reason I have resisted buying so far.

My brother, who also flies mostly in VR, couldn't resist though. He just had to get it, you know....
He played it a few days, but the lack of VR prevented him from continuing. Now he barely uses the sim anymore. He's just waiting, like me :)

Personnally, I cannot wait to explore the beautiful landscapes and cities (even the non-photogrametry ones) at low level in a good chopper in VR... or sail alongside a cool moutain cliff in a glider...

I have really noticed this now as I try the sim. Too fast flyby to really view the scenery. I want to look at stuff without flying by at 70mph

Sure a chopper will be available sooner or later. Freeware of course

And the sim still full of bugs I notice. Very irritating and not relaxing. But a very good platform for development.
