Installing patch?

Just went to load up MSFS and it seems to be downloading the goddamned thing again! Is this due to the patch and they installing it for you? How nice! :x

Last time it took me all night long to get the file and that was after 2 failed attempts. Is this going to be the way with every patch? If so FORGET IT.

Sure there is a way around that?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

im having more issues with the patch installed than without

constant crashes to desktop .. blue screens of death etc etc etc

Well I simply clicked on the MSFS icon in the Windows start menu and low and behold next thing I know the whole thing is downloading again. Left overnight and now all ready to go. Haven't run it yet.
