A Couple Issues

Hi, I've also cross posted this to CFS2 in case anyone there has had the same experiences in-game that I have had.

Hi, I have a couple issues in regards to some planes I imported to CFS2. The set I'm dealing with is the WWI fighter and bomber set produced by Stuart Green.

First, these planes are great, the best WWI set I've found yet. However I have an issue, first with the SE 5's virtual cockpit mode. It seems that the bullets are being shot in an area below and left of where the crosshairs are. Is there some way to move the bullet location or mod the virtual cockpit so that the crosshairs and the bullets are in the same place? I'm not sure if this can be done in CFS 2, I've never tried it.

Second, does anyone know of a set of WWI fighters comparable in flight model to the set I have? Ideally, I would like a couple early WWI German fighters to match against my Airco DH2 and my Nieuport 11. THe Green series only seems to have late war German fighters and they are a bit of an overmatch for the early Allied planes. I'm not sure if anyone has found a suitable set of early war German matches for fighting on Quick combat or the like.

Thanks for the help.

CFS1 downloads have the Albatross 2, an Eindecker, etc. If for CFS2 , they may need some edits but should be flyable. Someone made a Scout D but I've altered it to replace an RE8 I couldn't find. I'll try to see what I can do to get my CFS1 missions* uploaded along with my plane repaints. The oldest planes my missions use, however, are the SE5a and the refashioned Scout (utilized as a reconnaisance bomber: added observers seat and rear gun). The oldest German planes are the Albatross3 with various Jasta repaints, then the Fokker Triplane repaints. Many, if not most, of these planes will only have the standard cockpit, not the 'virtual'.

You can search for others

*some planes may be included in the missions downloads, as well.

Ok, I'm up late and can't think straight. Does this mean that SirMike is ok or do I have to look at this?... ???

I don't see a response from SirMike during the day I've been away. I notice I forgot to direct him to gunsation .dp edits (I believe CFS1 and CFS2 gun files are similar) so that the aim can be adjusted.
