Just a quick ??

Ok, I have repainted the OE p51, How can I use this Repaint as a whole new plane? I have it renamed, But it uses the OE textures... Any help? Oh yeah, First post...      TIA

Copy the complete default P51d folder & paste it to your desktop or a Temp folder. Rename the folder using a unique name & paste it back into the sim. Change the title= name in Aircraft.cfg to a suitable name. This will be your repaint. To do the job properly & avoid texture conflicts you might need to rename the textures & hex edit the MDL to recognise them. Check out this tute. http://www.simviation.com/fsdtutrpaint.htm

Thank you. I got it working last night (Changing the folder name to the same name you use for the title helps a lot Doh), But like you said, I still have some conflicts.... Thanks for the link and quick response.

I never had any probs with the Funderbolt repaint. I just changed the name in the *air & aircraft*cfg
