Want to make a program to guide some weapons toward their targets ? And dont know if it is possible. If somebody can help me I thank him (her).

If you're suggesting a missile, no.  All ordnance in CFS2 is "dumb", there are no "smart" bombs or missiles.  Only rockets and dumb bombs.  You'll just have to use skill.  If you want to set up some modern warfare, CFS2 is one of the worst platforms to do so on.  Not only are guided weapons unfeasable in CFS2, if you pull in excess of about 8 Gs you blow up.  If you really want to do some modern air combat, I suggest you go out and get yourself a new game, such as LOMAC (Lock On: Modern Air Combat).  I never fancied it myself, so I can't tell you if it's worth the money.

Yes I could purchase Lomac, why not ?
but I like FS or CFS series because it is very easy to share addons with all FS community. I would like to make improvements by my own. Are you sure that it is not possible to access certain variables such like cordinnates or speed of an object ( ground object, aircraft,weapon,ship...), modifie them by a program and send the new data calculated to cfs in order it changes trajectories of a weapon by exemple ? I think these variables exist because they are displayed by exemple on tactical map, and when labels are activated you can have the distance between your plane and an object.

Whoah P4, slow down! ;) Aircraft, ordnance, ships ect. are modified in very different ways, so explain a little further as to what you want to modify.

I knew all what you wrote in your reply, and that weapons or a lot of objects can be compiled in BGL libraries with some manipulations using scasm, mdldisas  and a lot of time...

I had seen in FS2002 a Radar gauge (thanks to Eric Marciano) that gives all information on a selected aircraft of AI traffic, trough FSUIPC.  I think that CFS2 AI conception is not very far from FS2k2's.

FSUIPC allows external programs to access to a lot of variables of FS such like AI or weather by exemple.

Accessing these variables could allow third users to developpe new gauges such like radar suitable for modern aircrafts (Rafale, Mig 21,F15...). And maybe  to design modern warfare systems.

I think that if you can access only to coordinates variables of an aircraft you can design a radar gauge.  I think that it either is possible to calculate the trajectory of a bomb dot by dot, at each step you can send to CFS its new position and guide it to an object (using with some numerical algorithmus). I'm currently getting information in order to run such a project.

Hi there,
If your looking into tweeking cfs2's ai flight algerythme it would be "fat" if you could get it to fly choppers.
