O.K. another question.  Can you import the scenery from cfs 1 into cfs 2 and use it in the mission editor to create missions.  I have been dying to remake clobber colledge.

I could be wrong but don't think the CFS1 default scenery is compatible with CFS2. It might be better to use some proper CFS2 mesh. It's a while since I was involved in this but I believe there's several examples covering Europe. Steve McClelland's CFSII Europe series covers a much wider area than the CFS1 default theatre.

(WOW this is still here!)

Ok. I know how to make missons now, but I have a new problem.  I just added a bunch of new planes I downloaded for cfs1 and cfs 2 to my library.  I wanted to make new missons for them, but when I click on the mission builder Icon now, It says something like "Database failed to initialize...You may have to reinstall the product as some files are missing or corrupted"

I have built missions before with the same aircraft, the only difference now is I finally figured out how to intall the weapons files that came with some of the cfs2 aircraft I downloaded.Any help?

You may have added too many new planes to the game.  If you have more than 100 planes total in your AIRCRAFT folder (that includes individual planes and multiple skin variations that use the same aircraft.cfg file) Mission Builder won't start at all and you get the error message you described.

Try removing some planes and see if that cures the problem.

Your problem is a very common problem that most of us have encounter. You just have to many planes in your Hangar.

Better said you can only have install or at any one time in the Aircraft folder no more than 95 to 100planes.

Yes you can install more than 100 planes in your program but in different Hangars.

As for weapons. When ever you install new weapons you have to remember to go the your aircraft the weapon where intended for and go inside the the aircraft folder and look for a file call CDP and delete it before flying with the aircraft. Do not worry this file will be replicated automatically by the program.

As for Hangar and flying with more than One hundred plane. You can always install this little but important program that will allow you to able to fly with more than hundred plane in different Hangars.

Its located here.
http://fly.to/mwgfx

Its call ACman and through it you will able to have up to eigthteen Hangars per install CFS2. Just remember you need the Stock planes for you to be able to activate each new Hangar.

Now you will be able to have up to Eighty new planes per new Hangar.

I hope have been able to help you out.

PS please remember to backup every thing up. This way you will avoid lots of headaches.

If you really want to improve your experience thruogh this program take  a look at this post put together by many member for the benefit of the communitty. Check it out.
