Editing the # of Bombs A Plane Carries

This is one of my serious disagreements w/  CFS. The fact that planes that carry bombs (P-51, etc.) don't have any. Even worse, i used DPED to change that and now it carries FIVE. Any one know how to fix this?

I would try and edit the root dp file. I haven't got my CFS installed, so post the *.dp file here in notepad form.

Open any default DP file to see how it's done. I copied this from the instructions with one of Martin Wright's CFS2 weapons packages. I'm sure the principle is the same for CFS1.

I recently controlled the loading of aircraft by editing the dp file to maximum values and then using the mission to control the load, Lancaster with 7500lbs. 9000lbs or  12000lbs of bombs for example.  Based on 500lb bombs as default size.  Maybe wrong.  They also carried a lot more ammo than default values as well.

OTHER CHANGES:

Another thing that always annoys me is fuel load and the running out of it long before the specification.  So  editing the airfile to suit is the option with an added aircraft sim name  to call it up with the added load in a mission.  eg Lancaster with 7 tons of fuel for Tirpitz raid.  Not sure CFS1 switches tanks correctly and that can be fixed in the airfile as well.  Standard Spitfire is a good example of that sort of problem.
