Multiplayer with custom planes

Hi all.  I just got this game and I was wondering if when I'm playing a multiplayer game and I have a plane installed that someone else doesn't have and I choose to fly this plane, will the others see me in the correct plane or do I need to make sure they have the files for this plane?

If you are flying a plane that the other player doesn't have he will see you in a default spitfire.  This causes some amusing effects if someone is flying a bomber with tailguns that you don't have!!!

Sometimes you'll see the plane your in if it's an add-on and the other guy's in an add-on that you don't have. Then you'll be saying "Cool, he's got this one as well" ;D
