511.23 poses more questions than answers

So, began my 2021 up with GTX 1050 Ti (EVGA) I had since quite a lot of time. Worked brilliantly at decent FPS (55) and high settings and all was good.

Today, in 2022 with Nvidia Driver version 511.23, Prepar3D v4.5 can't even manage 30 fps, even with tweaks I've used since long. Does anyone as well have problems with the new driver? Or am I doing something wrong. I did try a new Prepar3D.cfg, to no avail
Tried it again with my old tweaks, does bring it up to 30 fps, but slowly it goes obsolete as well
Problems started since 497.09, and have been going downhill since

Would be happy with a quick solution, thanks in advance

any time I had a problem like that I would roll it back to the previous driver until a new one came out then try it.
