New FA-18c

I have downloaded the newly uploaded FA-18c but I am completely lost as how I install it for P3Dv4.3, reference is made to a manual but I cannot find it, can anyone help please with installation.

Hi and welcome

I have also been looking forward to trying this gem to take some screenies for facebook.

Went in fine. The usual : Unzip into a temp folder and copy/paste folder FA-18C_FSXBA_BA_18.3.00 into the main Simobjects/Airplanes folder in P3D4. (Note this is inside another folder with the same name! - Make sure you copy the one with all the 'Model/Panel, etc. folders insde!)

Just note the 'P3D Specific Files' - inside you will find Panel.fleet and Gauges folders. Take the files inside each of these folders and copy/paste those files into the main Panel.fleet of the aircraft and Gauges into the main Gauges folder in P3D.

Worked for me. What a beautiful aircraft and flies like a dream. (I do get a 'FCS fail' warning on the HUD - will see why that is and report back. There is a LOT to learn to get the best out of this classic)

Thanks Dave - I forgot to install all the gauges - there are gauges inside the panel; folder as well as additional gauges - all installed now and most is OK
Just get this little warning loading the aircraft and cannot find dsd_p3d_xml_sound_x64.ini anywhere .... but things seem to work ok - but it must be needed for something ...

Thanks to those who responded. I have now got a working F18 in P3Dv4, I have the FCS Fail message on the HUD but I can live with that.
