Just curious

I've read Lockheed Martin's licensing agreement for P3D (several times) and I don't see how I'm legally permitted to use it. Is there something I'm missing?

The licensing has been discussed many times (including here) but these discussions can never reach a real, final conclusion.
In the end, it is preferable to just avoid talking about it. Most simmers just buy the academic licence.

I look at it very simply - Prepar3d is sold for educational purposes.

It says on it's website that you do not need to use it in a structured setting, and in fact that you can use it in your home.

If you bought it, could you learn anything?

Me? I've loved navigation ever sense I was a Boy Scout walking through the woods.

I'm too old to ever get any kind of a license, but I can still learn navigation. Just don't tell LM that I enjoy learning. :shifty:
