You've seen the best, and now for the worst of P3d V4

So you have the "basic" Orbx world textures. And if you stay away from "civilization" you have some pretty good scenery.

Within the major Orbx improved scenery areas the cityscapes aren't too bad.
FTX Global Base
FTX openLC Europe
FTX openLC North America
FTX Northern Rockies
FTX Central Rockies
Pacific Fjords
Northern - Southern California
etc.

BUT in areas outside of those, such as here in Philadelphia, you have the same old junky FSX scenery, with a somewhat better scenery texture.

THIS is what it is like now. Just like it was like before Orbx Vector.

In truth, they're not just making their scenery "compatible", as you would in making an FS9 plane work in FSX. They're making their old scenery live up to the 64bit detail that P3d V4 has made possible.

If you want to play around, there are instructions on the internet about porting the Orbx scenery over.

Me? I already have the "Old Stuff" in P3d V3, and can fly it whenever I want to.

I will wait for the really good stuff in V4.

But,,,,, will Prepar V.9 be compatible with V.4 ??????

Will all the PAYWARE Add On's work in PrePar V.9 that worked in Prepar V.4 ????

or will everybody have to re'purchase their Payware Add Ons again and do massive updates even more to make everything kinda work ????????

Just wondering :shifty:  :?
