Well it looks like Sept 30th is D-Day for V3. Looks like it's not a free update unless you've purchased V2.5 & are still within the 60 day refund limit, you'll be able to arrange a refund & then purchase v3

Prices still look the same as before but I personally will be holding off for a while yet!

Thanks for the notice. Here it is for anyone interested - Introducing Prepar3D v3.

And even more important, here is the update list - Requested Features and Enhancements Implemented in Prepar3D v3. It's VERY long, and I haven't read it yet, so I'll be back :D .

But, so far, This looks like one that I can probably skip.


There are a GREAT many minor, esoteric, bugs that have been corrected.

For instance - Prepared V3.X will not crash if a Lithuanian lady bug walks across a South Korean flower that was imported from Fairbanks Alaska during Lent by naturalized Panamanian on a Tuesday afternoon.


All in all, I think that I might have run into one of the bugs that they fixed.

There are a number of significant problems that were not addressed in this release.

I'm going to have to wait and actually SEE what gets released.
