Prepar3D Vs FSX

Sorry I'm new to this and I'm sure there is a topic about this. I want to know if Prepar3D is worth the money i see on their website about getting some of their products. I've been flying fsx for years and years and now have found my self looking for new planes to keep my attention up, but with no real luck of find any new good missions since i am very bored of doing the same ones over and over again. I found the site for Prepar3D and I'm wondering if anyone has more information on it?

Thank you!!

I don't think you should switch to P3D for the moment.
From a content point of view, I believe the sim is quite empty by default. I haven't looked at the missions yet, but I wouldn't be too optimistic on this.
Concerning the planes, as far as I know, there are no payware planes made specifically for P3Dv2 yet.
There are 2 or 3 freeware planes that use some P3D default gauges (latest updates to Dino's planes) but that's it pretty much.
Most of us are using FSX planes and addons, and that's all. Nothing really new.
