FYI. As of today, 2/11, version 2.1 of Prepar3d is available for download at the Lockheed Martin site.

1:45 eastern standard time USA

I did the full download in less than 30 minutes.

I was somewhat busy, and at one point I noticed that the download link had paused on it's own.


The setup took about 2.5 hours, more or less. No problems, just extremely slow.

There was the initial delay in first time starting mode, as expected.

They recommend deleting settings in 3 or 4 places. That may account for the overly long setup.


None of the hardware is set up inside of Prepar3d V2.19, so I'll have to reset everything.

There is some undefinable difference. I think that it looks a little better? No sure yet.

It definitely loads faster than before.


It just crashed saving settings.

This time I turned off the 2 USB monitors, restarted, changed & saved settings. No crash.

From what I can see, it really is MUCH better!
