It's here early 11-24-13

I'm starting to get sick of some Prepar3d supporters.

I don't know if this guy is officially with Prepar3d. It doesn't look it, but he does spend an inordinate amount of time on their website trying to help people.

But in some ways he's as bad as all the all the Apple, Linux, and X-Plane fanboys togather.

If you have a Prepar3d problem that he can't answer he blames it on you and your computer.

From the Prepar3d website;

It's a Valid point that Anti-Virus software may or may not cause problems when installing any software.

The problem was nothing to do the LM and P3D but your own software environment

I am glad you have figured it out and solved your problem. CONGRATULATIONS!

Regards,
Saul.

Even when I see warnings like that, I don't turn off my antivirus. Who would?

In fact, until now, I've never had software problems caused by the antivirus program.

OK, maybe 15 or 20 years ago. But nowadays???

Get with it LM. NO ONE downloads software from the internet and turns off the AV.

There is no BS that you can give me as to why the LM Prepar3d team DID NOT check the instillation with a variety of AV software running.

There are some good things happening.

I tested OpusFSX with Prepar3e V2 and not only did it work in so far as clouds & weather are concerned, but the ButtKicker Beta version worked great.

But on the other hand, I can't make ANY changer from within the program.

As soon as I click the OK button it crashes. If it at least made the change BEFORE the crash, it wouldn't be so bad.

If I didn't have problems with Prepar3d V2 I could probably cure some incurable disease, or bring about world peas. (YES, that is a joke)
