PBR upgrades for several aircraft

Postby Salyut_ » Sun May 02, 2021 6:32 am

Hello everyone, first post on the forum better make it a good one.

I've spent a lot of time re-doing paintkits on some thomas ruth aircraft, since that achmed guy on facebook is doing the 330's i did the 340's, a fully re-done paintkit of the 340-300 and 340-600, and pbr for both aircraft, this also goes for the a300-600F. On the other side i have also done the skyspirit 777x and 767, but sadly i cant upload the 76 since it includes textures made by someone who doesnt want it re-uploaded, here are some preview images for you to enjoy whilst i get everything ready for uploading

Well, you might want to do some more, the paintkit i made is in my opinion a lot better than the old one :D, and as for the aircraft suggestions, i'll take them in mind, the 343, a300 and 346 should be uploaded now, no idea why they arent showing up on the site, but i'll figure it out

Hi, Thank you for the uploads! :) We have received the A340-300 and A340-600. 2 files.

However I have found the zip file for the a340-300 paintkit has a problem and will not extract. The 600 is fine.
I have delisted it for now. Can you please try again and upload it?

Thank you!

The Lear 45 for FSX. It works in P3Dv5.1, but needs PBR badly.

Hi
You uploaded a PBR version of the posky 747-400BCF and passenger versions. Both had problems. Wrong textures in texture folder. Missing textures. Mis-configured aircraft.cfg file and more.

If you take a look: Freighter version for example:

*Cathay has Lufthansa right side textures.
*Martinair has United right side textures.
*UPS has no right side textures.

*Aircraft.cfg is not matched with the correct models.

*Unable to test the panel at all as it crashes P3D immediately. If I revert to the FSND VC it's ok so the panel/vc has a problem.

If you can revise and fix these issues I will re-test and they can be approved. Thank you!

Hi

Thanks for the upload.
However I had to replace the VC with the FSND 747 VC. The provided VC had no info (as you know skysprit didn't make a 747 vc/internal model) and P3D crashes with your VC (what vc/internal model is that? Modified MS default I am guessing?)

I am uploading the packs separately as they had config clashes which prevented them loading into P3D.
Uploading today the B747-400 passenger version with BA, Lufthansa and United liveries. PBR not configured on the BA version but works well in the Uinted and Lufthansa.

I'll check out the freighter versions later. Thanks! <<r

Thats wierd, i couldnt find any gauges with the 747 so i wouldnt know what problems it houses, if the vc textures are there i wouldnt mind any other way.

and as for the RR models, i probably know why, the person who made the volumetric lights gave the mdl to me without pbr, so thats probably why, ill reupload it in a minute onto a gdrive and link it in the thread, and as for the FSND, is it availible here on simviation?

As for the converted and boeing freighters, they all work with pbr, or, they should :P
