Just getting back into combat sims and loaded CFS3 on an extra (old) IBM Thinkcentre. Works great and the graphics aren't bad at all with 128 MB onboard video.
Working my way through all of the settings but I can't seem to get the cockpit view with all of the gauges. Someone help this old crop duster out here. Glad I found this site. Really heavy duty site with loads of much needed info.

I use F4 to cycle through the views and the VC is in there somewhere...Usually

If I remember correctly CFS3 has no 2D panel view.
