I have just corrupted my copy of CFS3 so decided to reinstall.  I deleted it through add/remove programs and all the folders on my drives but the reinstall hangs at about 1% saying that a file may be being used or disk full.  I even removed OFF as I thought this may have been compromising the reinstall...but no go.  Anybody out there with any ideas?

Reboot into "Safe Mode"  (hit f8 whilst re-booting) and manually delete any traces of CFS3, reboot and try again.

This works for me in similar situations.
