Is there any way to make the chase view a fixed view as in cfs3?

If not for CFS3, what sim are you talking about?

Cfs2.  That's where I originally posted this question but it got moved to here. I like the external fixed chase view you get in cfs 3 and just wondered if the chase view in  cfs2 could be modded to be fixed as well.

I doubt it. Things like that are hard coded into the software and not a lot of people know how to change that. You'd probably need half the CFS2 development team to add a fixed chase view.
