I downloaded a Stuka, I believe it is the one you are talking about, the under-wing cannons have the normal machine gun sounds, so that needs to be fixed, but other than that it seems to be great! I downloaded the winter "Broomstick" camoflauge plane.
:d

Is the Stuka the only additional aircraft for the WW2 European version? I'd like to see a Stormovik or maybe some more X-planes.
I also heard that most of the existing additions don't work for CFS3. Is this still true?

if you're talking about cfs2 or FS planes, so yes. The format is specific to cfs3 (and it's a better one IMO at it allows for more polys, and the use of specular textures). The problem is that few FS designers - if none - are interested in making the conversion of their model for cfs3, though it is not that much work (just some renaming of the parts and making the specular files - maybe the animations (?) )
Furtermore, you have to use Gmax and those who use FFDS can't convert their planes to cfs3 : the source file must be a Gmax one. My 2 cents again : though there is a learning curve (not as steep as I thought of when reading the forums), it's a more powerful design tool, so an advantage.

Do you maybe want to take a crack at this? I have done animations for an extremely easy (by graphics comparison) game so I'd be willing to take a crack at this if you could do the file changes.
We could maybe start with the Stormovik and take it from there?

If you have Gmax files for it, why not but not before the end of this year - I'm currently too busy with this :

Looks like a fantastic project! Really!
I want a WW1 mod for this game far more than anything else. If you think one of the animators or other graphics dudes might want help or just want beta testers let me know.

There is a few Payware Ju-87 out there...the Alpha-Sim has a good one....and I think AH has one too if you pay for the BOB Package. I know MAW will have one released soon.

Peter,
Alessandro (ALX) Biagi is doing the Ju-87's & has a number including 3 Regia Aeronautica versions.

I have no idea who is doing the sound for any of the planes but you can ask Rick (RCAF_Gunner) Rutherford who is the MAW team lead.
