exit after picking aircraft

I am new to adding aircraft, like the Ju 88A-4 Kamp 54 from sim-outhouse. When i clicked in the quick mission to select the plane, it exits out of cfs3. Any idea whats happening?

Read the README again and VERY carefully : there should be a mention on how to install it, and you most probably forgot something that screwed up the install.

Most probable causes : you forgot to install the weapons (or guns) and pylons.

Another cause for a wrong install : the sound is aliased to a plane you don't have (to be seen in the sound.cfg).
but it's probably not your case.

I read the readme, it said to put the folder in the aircraft folder, which i did. Is it possible that weapons, etc are separate? That is the only reason i can think of

If there was no pylons or weapons with your download then the cause is elsewhere.

Check if you haven't got a double folder, i.e. your folder looks like this (name is an example  ;) ) :

combat flight simulator\aircraft\3gr_Ju88a_4T\3gr_Ju88a_4T

instead of this :

combat flight simulator\aircraft\3gr_Ju88a_4T

come to think of it : the double folder isn't your problem as the plane appears in your list. It wouldn't otherwise.

So if a pylon folder is included in the download, copy the contents to the Pylons folder of cfs3.
Same thing for guns and weapons.

You'll be needing the 1% weapons pack from Avhistory if you havn't already got it.
