is battle over europe crap?

i just bought battle over europe a couple weeks ago, and ive been playing it a bit. i bought it having read no reviews, it was a spur of the moment thing. the thing is, im not really too impressed with it, the graphics dont seem too good, and i dont like the cockpit view(i prefer something in the style of fs9)  should i have bought the other one (pacific?????) or is it basically the same thing but in a different theatre (as i suspect..)   cheers, nick  :)

are you on about CFS3 itself? or an addon i might have missed? CFS2 is much better for dogfighting, its really good fun, the graphics are acceptable and it runs on even average machines. CFS3 is very much more focused on ground attacks it seems, the graphics are great if you have the ability to run it properly, the differance being, 3 has the dynamic campaign 2 doesnt.

Makes me wonder wether someone patched the sleepy AI in 2?

As for "3", it needs some tweaking to get rid of the blurrey terrain and some third party downloads to improve on the unfinished terrain tiles.
Once patched that way it really shines.
