I have searched  this subject on this site & have read there will be no CFS4.

Is there an official line on this & if so where?

Have the CFS3 team been dismissed? (AFAIK they were not the same as the FS9 development team)

I could find nothing on the MS CFS website either.

CFS4 is dead, that from very credible sources.

Forget CFS4 and set your eyes on this  :)
